Based on inputs and experience from Maersk Tow masters, DMI Maritime Service has developed the onboard system OPTIWAVE giving the user a graphic overview of weather parameters influencing the operation and allowing the user to adjust speed in order to remain below operational limits or arrive in time to use the weather window below operational limits.
