Performance

Being the first Post Performance Company in the world using Current Speed in our Post Performance calculations, we continue being in the front end of both technical developments and legal issues providing reliable, objective and transparent performance reports. DMI Maritime Service has for years measured and analyzed weather globally using it for both climate research and evaluating ship performance for the benefit of Ship Owners and Charterers, Operators, P&I Clubs etc.

Performance Analysis

The voyage progress is analyzed and reported with respect to voyage speed and fuel oil consumption. Based on position reports from the vessel and our knowledge about weather, sea and current, the performance speed is calculated and compared to a Charter Party speed provided by the customer.

Performance Analysis is made on an independent third party consultant basis where accuracy, integrity and reliability are the trademarks driving the division.

Fleet Performance

Continuous monitoring of groups of vessels is offered to Pool Managers and Fleet Operators for the purpose of evaluating and comparing speed and oil consumption between a number of vessels.

Daily position reports from the vessels combined with our weather and current data is analysed, accumulated and compared to the other ships in the fleet.

The comprehensive layout of tables in the report makes it easy to get a picture of vessels speed corrected for the influence of current and calculated separately for good weather days without added resistance from wind and waves making voyages, ships and groups of ships easily comparable.
